The Assistant tab and AI tools are missing in ArcGIS Pro 3.4 or later

Description

After installing ArcGIS Pro version 3.4 or later with the ArcGIS Pro AI Assistant enabled, the Assistant group containing the AI Assistant tool is missing from the Help tab on the ArcGIS Pro ribbon.

Cause

In ArcGIS Pro 3.4, AI tools require Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) instruction set extensions. When the installation of ArcGIS Pro 3.4 with ArcGIS Pro AI Assistant 3.4 is completed, and the machine’s processor is missing the AVX2 instruction set, the AI Assistant tool in the Help tab is not visible.

Solution or Workaround

Install ArcGIS Pro with the AI Assistant on a machine with a processor that supports the AVX2 instructions. Refer to Intel: How to Know If My Intel® Processor Supports Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (Intel® AVX2) for more information.
