Problem: Text Turns Purple and System Locks Up

Solution or Workaround

Description

Typing DISPLAY 4 in ARCPLOTW causes the text to turn purple and the computer locks up.

Cause

Inappropriate video display driver.

Solution

Type CON-CGI at the Arc prompt and select a different video display driver.

These generic video drivers work on most PCs:

IBMVGA12.SYS
HRVGA.SYS  <-- use the Everex Viewpoint option
