PROBLEM
Sign-in prompted when adding datasets in ArcGIS Insights desktop
Description
A sign-in dialog is displayed when a remote dataset is added to your workbook from your ArcGIS content.
In ArcGIS Insights 2020.1 desktop, Living Atlas layers and publicly available remote layers accessed from an Insights 2020.1 connection or higher do not prompt for credentials. Other remote layers continue to prompt for credentials.
Solution or Workaround
Enter your credentials in the dialog and sign in, or, if the remote layer is public, you can close the dialog without signing in.
If the remote layer is not shared publicly, you must enter valid user credentials to the portal that the content is hosted on.
