Description

In some instances, when searching for locations on a Map question, the Sign In dialog box is displayed in ArcGIS Survey123 even when the survey forms are set as publicly shared.

Cause

  • The ArcGIS World Geocoding Service referenced by the survey is not shared publicly.
  • The basemap layer used in the survey is not shared publicly.

Solution or Workaround

Share the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service publicly

Share the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service to Everyone. Refer to Portal for ArcGIS: Share items with everyone for instructions.
