Related table is not included in an ArcGIS Pro report

Description

In ArcGIS Pro, the Add Relate tool can be used to relate attributes between layers and tables to discover the one-to-many or many-to-many relationship. However, when generating a report based on a layer or table containing a related table, the data in the related table is not displayed in the report.

In this example, the Add Relate tool is used to relate the SEACountry feature layer to the SEAPopulation table to display the population number of each Southeast Asian country. The image below shows the related table information displayed in the hover pop-up in the SEACountry attribute table and pop-up.

The image below shows the report generated using the SEACountry feature layer. The information in the related table is not displayed in the report.

Cause

Reports only reflect the data in the data source and do not include the relational information between tables in an ArcGIS Pro project. Relating tables defines a relationship between the two tables, and the associated data is not appended to the layer's attribute table. Solution or Workaround

Insert a related report to the primary report to display the related data. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Add a related report for the instructions. The related report appears below the details section of the primary report.

The image below shows the SEACountry report generated with an added related report. The Population field from the related table is displayed in the report.
