Problems setting up ArcIMS with a proxy server

User is having problems getting ArcIMS to work with a proxy server. Followed all the instructions in the ArcIMS Installation Guide or ArcIMS Help FAQ, and ArcIMS Help System Administration, Administering property files section, without success.
Cause
We have found a case where the Servlet Engine needed a virtual directory so the Servlet Engine could be contacted by the proxy server.
Solution or Workaround
Creating a virtual directory called servlet to the Servlet Engine may be the solution if problems persist with ArcIMS and the proxy server.Article ID:000003478
