PROBLEM

Pop-up styling is not retained by Feature Info in ArcGIS Experience Builder

Last Published: November 12, 2024

Description

When configuring pop-ups with custom styling in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, the styling is not retained by the Feature Info widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder, as shown in the image below. In this example, 'Field Value' and 'New Field Value' do not retain the configured styling.

The styling of the words are not inherited in the Feature Info widget

Cause

On the Content tab of the Feature Info widget's configuration panel, Style is set to Custom. When styling is set to Custom, ArcGIS Experience Builder reverts to the app's theme styling. This is by design.

Solution or Workaround

Set Style to Respect the source

  1. Open the ArcGIS Experience Builder project and navigate to the Insert widget panel.
  2. Under Data centric, drag and drop the Feature Info widget to a desired position on the experience.
  3. In the Feature Info widget’s configuration pane, under Content, click Add data.
  4. In the Content configuration pane, click Select data. If necessary, click Add new data to add data from ArcGIS Online.
  5. Select the data containing the custom styling.
  6. Navigate to the Feature Info widget’s configuration pane and on the Content tab, under Style, select Respect the source from the drop-down menu.

The Feature Info widget pop-up shows the custom styling set in ArcGIS Online is retained.

The pop-up configuration follows the custom styling set in ArcGIS Online
