PROBLEM
Macromedia Freehand does not import EPS output from ArcMap
Description
Freehand will not import an ArcMap generated EPS as an editable graphics file.
Cause
This is an incompatibility with Macromedia Freehand.
Solution or Workaround
Alternative formats for importing into Freehand are Portable Document Format (PDF) and Enhanced Metafile (EMF).
Adobe Illustrator (AI) is another export format that supports Freehand. This exporter is available with Service Pack 1 for ArcGIS 8.1.
