Incorrect value in the Chart widget when View for empty selection is enabled in ArcGIS Experience Builder.

Description

In ArcGIS Experience Builder, the Chart widget returns an incorrect statistic value when the ‘View for empty selection’ option is enabled in the Data panel. The image below shows the web experience displaying the Chart widget with incorrect sum statistics for the selected field. This behavior can be observed when the data view is set to ‘Selected features’ on the Chart widget.

Cause

The default value of the 'Page size' setting on the Records tab in the 'View for empty selection' window is 100. However, this value is smaller than the result features. Therefore, the total number of result features in the widget is limited because the Chart widget does not support pagination. Refer to ArcGIS Experience Builder: Data source views for more information.

Solution or Workaround

To resolve this issue, specify the 'Page size' setting to a value greater than 100.

1. Open the web experience in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
2. Click Data  to open the Data panel.
3. In the Data panel, select the preferred web map.
4. In the web map panel, on the Layers tab, under the In use section, select the preferred feature layer.
5. At the bottom of the pane, ensure the View for empty selection check box is enabled and click Settings.

6. In the View for empty selection window, on the Records tab, specify Page size to a value greater than 100. In this example, the value is 500.

Note: 
Several attempts to specify the correct page size are necessary to ensure the results are displayed in the connected widgets.

7. Click Apply changes.
8. Save, preview, and publish the web app.
