Incorrect field order in exported files from the ArcGIS Instant Apps Public Notification template

Description

In the ArcGIS Instant Apps Public Notification template, fields configured for display in a Map Viewer pop-up do not retain their defined order when they are exported as PDF or CSV files. The pop-up configuration panel below shows the fields list with the defined order.

The PDF below demonstrates the mismatch between the field order and the defined order of the fields list.

Cause

ArcGIS Instant Apps Public Notification exports use the input layer’s published field order when the pop-up is configured with a 'Fields list' element instead of preserving the field order defined in the Map Viewer pop-up configuration, resulting in reordered fields in CSV and PDF exports.

Solution or Workaround

1. In Map Viewer, on the Contents (dark) toolbar, click Layers and select the feature layer.
2. On the Settings (light) toolbar, click Pop-ups .
3. In the Pop-ups pane, next to the existing Fields list element, click Options > Delete.
4. Add the Text element to the pop-up configuration. Refer to Steps 2 through 5 foiund in ArcGIS Online: Add text for instructions. In Step 3, click Fields List {} and select the fields in the correct order.
5. On the Contents (dark) toolbar, click Create app > Instant Apps. Configure the necessary information for the Public Notification template, and export it as a PDF or CSV file.

The PDF below shows the list of fields in the correct order.
