PROBLEM
The default location recorded by survey submissions is displayed inaccurately on the web map when collected via the ArcGIS Survey123 web app or the ArcGIS Survey123 field app. This may result in misrepresentation of spatial data and reduce the accuracy of location-based insights. Refer to ArcGIS Survey123: Where are people capturing data? for more information.
Depending on the collection method, the cause may be different.
Depending on the cause, apply either of the following workarounds to resolve the issue.
Note: To disable the visibility of the map question, on the Edit tab, under Behavior, uncheck Visible.
Ensure location services are enabled in the device settings by granting access to location. The following documentation provides instructions to enable location on various devices and browsers.
