In HTML viewers, the page appears to load, but instead of seeing the map, a red X appears.
The Map Service used in the HTML viewer has the Server Output URL Location pointing to a path that is not resolvable from the client. The red X in the browser window is an indication that the path to the image is incorrect.
Solution or Workaround
- In either ArcIMS Manager or Stand-alone Administrator, open the property sheet for the service being used by this page.
- Change the value of the Server Output URL location to be correct from the clients perspective.
