Feature Display Options are not available when configuring legend items in ArcGIS Pro

Description

In ArcGIS Pro, when opening the Element pane of legend items, Feature Display Options are not available, as shown in the image below.

Cause

One of the selected legend items’ features is not applicable to the Feature Display Options. Feature Display Options are not available for the clustering aggregation type, tile layers, vector tile layers, and scene layers. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Dynamic legend items for more information.

Solution or Workaround

In ArcGIS Pro, select the applicable feature layer in the Contents pane to display Feature Display Options. Press and hold the Ctrl key to select multiple feature layers.

Note:
Alternatively, in the Contents pane, deselect the non-applicable feature layer instead. Press and hold the Ctrl key and deselect the feature layer.

In ArcGIS Pro, Feature Display Options are available in the Element pane when the non-applicable feature layer is deselected.
