PROBLEM
Existing hosted features are unable to load or draw when attempting to view them in Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer. The Data Store processes are running as normal on the host machine, and running the describedatastore bat file shows nothing out of the ordinary. However, the Data Store fails to validate in the Server Manager.
The Data Store is not functioning as expected. This could be the result of issues including:

The client was not able to publish and hosted features did not load in the Map Viewer. The Data Store was not validating but the describe datastore batch file from the datastore command prompt tools was showing the service was healthy and operational. The correct Data Store processes were also present when inspecting the Task Manager details. Stopping the Data Store service on the host machine (distributed computing) and starting it back up after two minutes, allows the software to validate and function as expected.
