Esri Maps for IBM Cognos 5.0.1 displays in two languages

Description

Esri Maps for IBM Cognos 5.0.1 displays in two languages.

Cause

Esri Maps for IBM Cognos 5.0.1 is only supported in English, but some UI components are configured to be displayed in the browser’s language instead.

Solution or Workaround

1. Download and save the attached zip file.
2. Extract the zip file and save the files reporter.html and designer.html.
3. Copy and paste reporter.html and designer.html to the following location, replacing the the existing files:
   
   

   <Esri Maps for IBM Cognos install folder>\webcontent\esrimap

   
   
4. Clear the browser cache.
   
   Esri Maps for IBM Cognos now displays in English, regardless of the browser's language settings.
