Element is not rendered when a filter action is applied to the data in ArcGIS Dashboards

Description

When a filter action is applied to the data in a dashboard's category selectors, the element is not rendered when the None option is selected. For example, the message in the image below appears on an indicator element when the None option is selected in the category selector after the filter action is applied to the data.

Cause

The 'Render only when filtered' option is checked and applied to the filter action in the dashboard's category selector.

Solution or Workaround

1. In ArcGIS Dashboards, under the Header tab in the Layout panel, browse to the category selector.
2. Click the Options button next to the category selector and click Configure from the Options to open the Category selector window.
3. On the Actions tab of the Category selector window, click Filter to expand the section of the action.
4. Uncheck the Render only when filtered option.

5. Click Done in the window's lower-right corner to save the changes made to the filter action.
