Deploying redline routes in the Event Editor web app returns 'Not configured'

Description

When deploying redline routes by including the redline layer in the same map service along with other routes and event layers, the Redline Routes group displays 'Not configured' on the Review tab of the Event Editor web app.

Cause

The 'autoDetection' property of the redline layer is set to 'true' by default. The Event Editor web app is designed to automatically detect the redline layer if it has the same name as the redline feature class (including prefix).

Solution or Workaround

Complete the steps below to resolve.

1. Navigate to the Event Editor configuration file location. By default, the JSON file is located in the <Installation location>\Server\Web\EventEditor folder.
2. Select and edit the JSON file.
   1. Change the autoDetection property from true to false.

3. Refresh the app, and the Redline Routes group displays the redline activities on the Review tab.
