Convert to Shapefile option is disabled

Description

When making a feature theme active, the Convert to Shapefile menu item is greyed out.

Cause

The Convert to Shapefile is disabled because one or more of the following is true:

· There is no active theme in the view or the active theme is an image theme.

· The Shape field in that theme's attribute table has been made invisible in the Table Properties dialog.

· There are no visible fields in the theme's attribute table other than the Shape field.

Solution or Workaround

• The active theme must be a feature theme (coverage, shapefile, CAD drawing).
• Both the Shape field and at least one other field are visible in the theme's attribute table.
