PROBLEM
Circular arcs are converted to densified lines
Description
If the Shared Edit Tool, Integrate Command, or the AutoComplete Polygon edit task are used to edit features that contain circular arcs, the arcs will be converted to straight line segments once the edit operation is complete.
Cause
If topology is used to complete an edit operation of features that contain circular arcs, the arcs will be converted to straight line segments. The Shared Edit Tool, Integrate Command, and the AutoComplete Polygon edit task use topology (shared edges) to complete an edit operation.
Solution or Workaround
If you need to retain parametric shapes, use the Edit tool to select entire features and edit adjacent features independently. Use snapping to ensure coincidence.
