Changes to the field order not reflected in the ArcGIS Instant Apps Manager template table

Description

In ArcGIS Instant Apps, the attribute table in the Manager template does not reflect the changes made to the field order in Map Viewer. In this example, fields are reordered in the web map's pop-up configuration in Map Viewer, however, the changes apply only to the pop-up in the app. The app's attribute table continues to display fields in their default order, resulting in a column sequence that differs from the preferred configuration. The behavior can also be observed in the ArcGIS Instant Apps Manager template deployed from the ArcGIS Solutions app.

Cause

The table’s field order is determined by the ArcGIS Instant Apps configuration and does not automatically inherit the field order defined in the map's pop-up configuration.

Solution or Workaround

Rearrange the table field in the ArcGIS Instant Apps Manager template

1. Sign in to ArcGIS Instant Apps.
2. Click My Apps. Locate the app and click Configure. If necessary, toggle off the Express mode first.
3. Configure the table field order.
   1. In the configuration panel, click Interactivity.
   2. In the Interactivity panel, click Layer options.
   3. In the Layer options panel, in the Choose map drop-down menu, select the map.
   4. Under Configure field order and visibility for layers, click Field next to the layer to display the field order. In this example, the field order ‘Parcels_Statistics:Parcels_Statistics’ layer is displayed.
   
   5. Under Select fields for: <layer>, drag and drop the field names to rearrange as preferred.
   6. Click Publish.
