User is unable to log in to ArcIMS Administrator. The servlet container is working successfully, and a repair has been completed on ArcIMS Administrator.
The password file has become corrupt and needs to be rebuilt.
Solution or Workaround
There is a problem logging into the ArcIMS Administrator.
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcIMS\AppServer folder.
- Delete the 'AimsAdmPW' file within the folder, C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcIMS\AppServer. Close Windows Explorer.
- Open ArcIMS Administrator; a prompt to create a new password displays. Set the new password and log in.
