Cannot geocode intersections using Streetmap data

Description

Cannot locate intersections using Streetmap 1.0 or 1.1.

Cause

Streetmap 1.0 and 1.1 do not support geocoding of intersections. Only Streetmap 2000 and ArcView support this operation.

Solution or Workaround



  1. Convert the .bms file into a shapefile in Streetmap 1.0 or 1.1.
  2. Geocode the intersections in ArcView.
