Description

ArcLogistics Route drops leading zeros when importing data from MS Excel.

Cause

MS Access, the database engine behind ArcLogistics Route, does not recognize MS Excel text and zip code field types.

Solution or Workaround



Place an apostrophe (') in front of the zip code, for example:

Change 07843 to '07843

Both MS Access and MS Excel are able to read this format correctly.
