Cause

The Windows 7 system settings used for the appearance and performance are not configured properly.

Solution or Workaround

As long as the machine meets the graphical system requirements for ArcGIS Pro 2.0, Windows 7 can properly display the undocked panes or windows in a secondary monitor with the correct settings. Follow the steps below to configure to the proper appearance and performance setting in Windows 7 for ArcGIS Pro 2.0:

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Click Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings.
  3. Click the Settings... button under the Performance section.
  4. Under the Visual Effects tab, check Let Windows choose what's best for my computer.

Once the new appearance and performance setting is applied, the undocked panes and windows are displayed or fully drawn in the secondary monitor.
