PROBLEM
Items shared to a group in collaboration between ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online fail to sync. On the Collaboration page in the Portal for ArcGIS home page, the Status of Scheduled Syncs and Immediate Syncs shows Failed.
The Collaboration Sync Status in the Portal for ArcGIS REST endpoint page reports the message, "You do not have permissions to access this resource or perform this operation" for some items.
This issue occurs when the items in ArcGIS Online that must be synchronized in the collaboration are corrupted.
To resolve the issue, follow the steps outlined to identify and delete corrupted items in ArcGIS Online.
