PROBLEM

All records for topology attributes have values of zero

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Solution or Workaround

Description

All records for the arc topology attributes, FNODE, TONODE, LPOLY and RPOLY appear with values of zero.

Cause

You are running the SHAPEARC command and the shapefile does not have the proper node information, or you have edited a coverage and the node information has errors or duplications.

Solution

1. Run the RENODE command on the coverage to reassign each node a unique identifier.

2. Run the CLEAN or BUILD commands to rebuild ARC/LINE topology.

Note:
The LPOLY and RPOLY attributes can still have values of zero as described in the online help under the BUILD command.
