PROBLEM
After uploading additional data to a data file, I'm unable to zoom to an extent that displays these new features in the Edit Map page
Description
After uploading additional data to a data file, the user is unable to zoom to an extent that displays these new features in the Edit Map page of the ArcWeb site.
Cause
After uploading additional data to a data file, this data file’s extent coordinates may be changed automatically if the newly added data is outside of the data file’s previous extent coordinates. The extent coordinates are displayed on the data file’s Info tab in the Content Library.
Solution or Workaround
Update the layer's extent coordinates so it is synched up with the data file's extent. Update the layer with the Modify Layer tool in the Build tab on the ArcWeb site.Note:
Select the layer to update, not the data file.
When finished, Modify Layer is automatically updated. The layer’s updated extent coordinates are displayed on the Info tab in the Content Library.
