PrjData.dll not found. Projection and datum transforms may not operate correctly

Error Message

Starting ArcPad 7.1 may result in the following ArcPad warning message:

"C:\Program Files\ArcPad 7.0\System\PrjData.dll not found.
Projection and datum transforms may not operate correctly".

Cause

The uninstallation process does not remove 7.0.1 version of ArcPadPrefs.apx from My Documents on Desktop PC installations. Thus, ArcPad still searches for System folder in C:\Program Files\ArcPad 7.0\System path.

Solution or Workaround

• Modify the System Files Path in the ArcPad Options > Paths dialog box to display C:\Program Files\ArcPad 7.1\System (Tools > Options > Paths > System Files Path).
  
  
• Delete the ArcPadPrefs.apx in My Documents before opening ArcPad 7.1 for the first time.
