Pre-configure the ArcGIS Online Organization during ArcGIS Pro sign-in

Summary

In some scenarios it may be advantageous to pre-populate the ArcGIS Online Organization during sign-in to ArcGIS Pro. The following instructions describe how to pre-specify the ArcGIS Online Organization during the ArcGIS Pro launch on a per-machine basis.

Procedure

In this example, the Organization name is 'TestTest', and the Organization URL is https://testingagol.maps.arcgis.com. Changes made to the Windows Registry keys described below display the Organization name, as shown in the following image.

In this procedure, changes are made to the URLs used in the Portals and SignIn registry keys. These settings are shown in the screenshots below.

The AuthorizationPortal registry key ensures that Pro uses this URL as the default sign-in page upon launch. 

1. Exit ArcGIS Pro if it is running.
2. Open the Windows Registry Editor.
3. Navigate to the following node:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ESRI\ArcGIS Online for Pro\SignIn

3. Double-click the (Default) key.
4. In the Edit String dialog, under Value data, enter the URL of the ArcGIS Online Organization and click OK. For example:

https://testingagol.maps.arcgis.com/

5. Repeat this change for the AuthorizationPortal key.
6. Navigate to the ArcGIS Online for Pro\Portals node.
7. Repeat Step 4 above to edit the following keys:
   • (Default)
   • URL0
8. Close the Registry Editor.
