"Paste Items failed" when pasting a feature that contains true curves from a feature layer to an ArcGIS Online feature service in ArcGIS Pro

When copying and pasting a feature that contains true curves from a feature layer to an ArcGIS Online feature service, ArcGIS Pro returns the following error along with other messages.

Cause

This behavior is expected. Although hosted feature layers in ArcGIS Online can store true curve features, they do not fully support rendering curved geometries.

Solution or Workaround

Since a feature that contains true curves cannot be pasted into an ArcGIS Online feature service, the true curves must be removed from the feature by running the Densify tool in ArcGIS Pro. Once true curves are removed, there is no issue pasting features that originally contained true curves to an ArcGIS Online feature service in ArcGIS Pro.
