Where are the symbols for ARC/INFO and where are they documented?

Answer:

All available symbolsets that ESRI has provided are in the $ARCHOME/symbols directory. Many symbolsets for Version 6.x are documented in Appendices of the "Map Display & Query" Guide and the "ARC/INFO System Administrator's Guide."

For a hardcopy of any of these symbolsets use the ARCPLOT SYMBOLDUMP command.

Notes:

All IGL fonts are located in the $ARCHOME/igl63exe directory.
