Loading very large BLOBs in DB2
Description
You must consider the BLOB size when loading BLOBs into DB2.
Cause
If the size of the BLOB is greater than or equal to 2 GB, then it will be overwritten with the dbtune parameter LOB_SIZE, which has a default value of 1 MB.
If the BLOB size is significantly larger than 1 GB, then the LOB_OPTION parameter in the dbtune file will be overwritten with "NOT LOGGED".
Solution or Workaround
Turn off logging for BLOBs greater than 1 GB.
