Is traditional versioning being deprecated?

There are no plans to deprecate traditional versioning. Both traditional and branch versioning are supported in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise. However, newer datasets such as utility networks, trace networks, and parcel fabrics only support branch versioning.
