Is it possible to save metadata as a PDF file in ArcMap?

Answer

No, it is not currently possible to save metadata as a PDF file in ArcMap. However, users may save metadata as PDF in ArcCatalog using third-party software, such as PDF Complete or CutePDF Writer.

The following procedure creates a PDF of the metadata:


1. Install PDF Complete or CutePDF Writer.
2. Start ArcCatalog.
3. Select the desired feature class to view the metadata.
4. Click the Description tab.

5. Click Print.
6. Select PDF Complete or CutePDF writer.

7. Click Print.
8. The Save window displays, and the metadata can be saved in PDF format.
