Interpolate Line and Polygon tools not working when surface projected on the fly

** Fixed at ArcGIS 8.2 **

The line and polygon interpolation tools fail to produce output when the map display is in a different projection system than the surface.

Cause

This is a known problem.

Workaround

There is no workaround.
