Installing a service pack for ArcGIS Server .NET causes Server Manager to load a blank page

Description

After installing a service pack for ArcGIS Server .NET, Server Manager displays a blank page.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Solution or Workaround

1. In Notepad or another text editor, open the file:
   

   C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\web.config

   
   
2. Remove the xmlns="" tags.
3. Restart IIS Admin and the ArcGIS Server Object Manager services.
