Increase memory parameters for Java VM

Summary

ESRI recommends increasing the Java VM memory parameters to support Manager and the Java Viewers.

Procedure

1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Java Plug-in.
2. On the Advanced tab, set the required memory parameters in the 'Java Run Time Parameters' field.
   

   This is an example for a machine running 256 MB of Ram.

   
   
   
3. Click the Basic tab, check 'Enable Java Plug-in' and click Apply.
