HOW TO

Include embedded graphics in custom geoprocessing model/script documentation

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Summary

Instructions provided describe how to include embedded graphics in custom geoprocessing model/script documentation. When creating a compiled help system (CHM) that is referenced by geoprocesing custom tools (scripts/models), it is necessary to embed all graphics. If the graphics are not embedded, anyone the CHM is shared with can only view 'empty icon' place holders where the graphic should be.

Procedure

To create a CHM file that embeds all graphics, verify all <IMG> tags include only the file name and not the full path. All graphics/files must be located in the compile folder along with the *.hhp, *.hhc & *.hhk files. The graphics embed only if the contents of this folder and this folder only are compiled.
