Transfer ArcLogistics Online Projects from one machine to another

Instructions provided describe how to move ArcLogistics Online projects from one computer to another.There are times when ArcLogistics Online projects need to be moved from one machine to another, for example, after obtaining a new computer. The procedure below documents the process of transferring projects between machines.

Procedure


Note:
ArcLogistics Online projects consist of two files that share a project name created in the application; an .sdf and an .xml file. These files must be stored in the default 'Project' folder to be opened in ArcLogistics Online.

Project paths:

• Windows XP

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ArcLogistics\Projects


• Windows 7

C:\ProgramData\ArcLogistics\Projects


  1. From Windows Explorer, copy the .sdf and .xml file to another location, for example, an external hard drive.
  2. On the second machine, make sure ArcLogistics Online in installed with the current version.

    Note:
    To verify the version installed, click the 'About' button in the upper-left corner of the interface.

  3. Copy the project files to the 'Projects' folder on the second machine.
