Show only the outermost ladder labels on an MGRS grid

Summary

Use MGRS Grids to specify the number of rows and columns of ladder label values that appear in the layout. Use the option "Only show outer rows and columns" to show only the outermost rows and columns of these ladder labels.

Procedure

Follow the steps below to adjust the ladder label options from the MGRS Grid Properties dialog box.

  1. Right-click the data frame containing the MGRS Grid and select Properties.
  2. From the Grids tab, select the MGRS Grid and click Properties.
  3. Select the MGRS tab and specify the number of rows and columns of ladder labels to appear on the grid.

  4. To show only the outermost rows and columns of ladder labels, select the "Only show outer rows and columns" option.
