Share ArcGIS Marketplace items with the organization

Summary

When ArcGIS Marketplace items are shared, only groups within the organization are granted access to the item. Some instances require making the item available for the organization. This article provides the workflow to share the ArcGIS Marketplace item with the organization.

Procedure

Note: 
Ensure the ArcGIS Marketplace items are shared to the groups within the organization before continuing with the workflow. Refer to ArcGIS Marketplace: How do I grant others access to items purchased on ArcGIS Marketplace for instructions.
  1. Log in to ArcGIS Online and click Groups > My Groups.
  2. Browse to and click the group with the ArcGIS Marketplace item.
  3. Under Recently added content or Featured group content, browse to and click the item.
  4. On the item details page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click Copy in the URL section.

  1. Add the item to ArcGIS Online by referencing the public URL. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Add items from a URL for further instructions.
Note: 
The item is not hosted in ArcGIS Online. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Hosted layers for more information.
  1. Share the item with the organization. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Share items with your organization for instructions. The ArcGIS Marketplace item is now available for the organization.
Note: 
The item becomes unavailable for the organization if it is deleted or deprecated in ArcGIS Marketplace.
