Quickly locate a GUID of a command, menu, or toolbar

ArcObjects Developer Help has two technical documents that list the GUIDs for ArcCatalog and ArcMap tools, menus, and command bars.

Procedure



  1. Open ArcObjects Developer Help by clicking
    Start > Programs > ArcGIS > ArcObjects Developer Help.
  2. In the Table of Contents click Technical Documents.
  3. View the ArcMap and ArcCatalog technical documents titled:
    ArcMap: Captions, names, and GUIDS of built-in commands, menus, and toolbars in ArcMap. 

    ArcCatalog: Captions, names, and GUIDS of built-in commands, menus, and toolbars in ArcCatalog.
