Prevent point locations from being edited in ArcGIS QuickCapture

Summary

In ArcGIS QuickCapture, point locations can be edited on the map after collecting data. Sometimes, it is necessary to not edit the point locations because this may affect the integrity of the data collected, to maintain the most accurate and correct data to avoid field operation conflicts.

This article describes the workflow to prevent point locations from being edited in ArcGIS QuickCapture.

Procedure

  1. Open the project in ArcGIS QuickCapture designer.
  2. On the ribbon, click the General settings button.

  1. Navigate to the Allow location edits settings and toggle the option off.
  2. Click Save to save the project.
