Open ArcGIS Data Interoperability

Summary

ArcGIS Data Interoperability is an extension for ArcGIS Pro that requires an additional download. The extension is a separate application and can be opened three different ways in ArcGIS Pro. Once prompted, the extensions user interface opens outside of ArcGIS Pro. This article reviews the three ways to open the Data Interoperability extension application. 

Procedure

Using the Data Interoperability button

  1. Open ArcGIS Pro.
  2. Click the Analysis tab in the ribbon.

  1. Click the Data Interoperability button in the Workflows group.

Creating a New Spatial ETL Tool

  1. Open ArcGIS Pro.
  2. Open the Catalog pane.
  3. Expand the Toolboxes folder.
  4. Right-click the available toolbox.

  1. Click New.

  1. Select Spatial ETL Tool.

  1. Name and Label the tool in the Tool Properties: New ETL Tool window.

  1. Click OK.

Using an Existing Spatial ETL Tool

  1. Open ArcGIS Pro.
  2. Open the Catalog pane.
  3. Expand the Toolboxes folder.
  4. Expand the available toolbox.

  1. Right-click the existing Spatial ETL tool.
