Summary
Marker symbols can be offset from the endpoints of a line by modifying its symbol properties.
Procedure
The following steps describe how to offset marker symbols from the endpoints of a line for Cartographic, Hash, and Marker Line Symbols.
- Left-click on the line symbol in the Table of Contents.
- In the Symbol Selector dialog box, click Properties.
- Under the Line Properties tab, click the button for decorations on both ends of the line.
- Click Properties underneath the selected line decoration.
- Check Rotate symbol to follow the line angle.
- Click the Symbol button.
- In the Symbol Selector dialog box, click Properties.
