Increase the maximum altitude in Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS

Summary

By default, the maximum altitude for Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS is 190 meters. In some use cases and where flying regulations are met, it may be necessary to increase this.

Procedure

To increase the maximum altitude in Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS follow the steps below:

  1. Open and sign in to Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS on the iPad.
  2. Select Global Settings (upper-right gear icon) and in the highlighted area of the Global Settings dialog box, using two fingers, tap three times quickly (as fast as you can).

If done correctly, the Developer Info option appears, as shown in the next image.

  1. Select Developer Info and scroll to Survey Defaults, as shown in the next image.
  2. Change the maximum altitude to the desired height.
    • Ensure that the flight height in the DJI Main Controller settings are also updated if needed.
