HOW TO
In instances where the Python27 file is corrupted or missing from an ArcGIS Server machine, reinstall the Python27 file, or change the directory. This article describes the steps to reinstall the Python27 file or change the directory using the ArcGIS Server installation setup file.
Note: To check registry keys and determine where the Python27 paths are saved on the system, launch Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Python\PythonCore\2.7. The Python27 paths can be found in the InstallPath and PythonPath folders. While the paths may be registered in the registry, the Python27 file may not be in the designated location if it has been removed or is missing.![]()

Note: Ensure the ArcGIS Server account has appropriate permissions to the new Python27 directory. Refer to ArcGIS Enterprise: ArcGIS Server account for more information on the ArcGIS Server account.
