Find the error logs written when ArcMap closes

Summary

Below are instructions on locating the error log mentioned in the following error:

"ArcMap.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."

Procedure

1. Click Start > Run.
2. Type 'DRWTSN32' in the text box and click OK.
   
   The Dr. Watson dialog will provide paths to the log and dump files on the machine.
