Export filtered data in KML format in ArcGIS Experience Builder

Summary

Data from a web map layer can be filtered and exported in various formats, including KML, using the Table or Query widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder. Procedure

  1. Create a new experience in ArcGIS Experience Builder. Refer to Step 1 in ArcGIS Experience Builder: Create an experience with full mode for instructions.
  2. Add and configure the Map widget.
    1. From the Insert widget panel, drag and drop the Map widget onto the canvas.
    2. In the Map panel, on the Content tab, under Source, click Select map.
    3. In the Select data panel, click Add new data.
    4. From the Add data panel, select the preferred web map and click Done.
    5. In the Select data panel, under Type, select the newly added web map to add to the Map widget.
  1. From the Insert widget panel, drag and drop the Table widget onto the canvas.
  2. Configure the actions in the Table widget.
    1. On the builder toolbar, click Live view The Live view icon to switch to preview mode.
    2. On the Table widget toolbar, select the preferred layer. Click the Actions icon and select Set filter to configure the preferred filter. In this example, the ‘Colleges Universities’ layer is selected.

  1. In the Set filter window, toggle the layer on. Click Add and select Clause or Clause set to configure the preferred filter.

  1. After configuring the filter, close the Set filter window. The table has been filtered to the preferred filter.
  2. On the Table widget toolbar, click the Actions icon and select Export > Export to KML to export the filtered data.
