Enable Avenir Next within Infographics if Times New Roman appears as the default font

Summary

Avenir Next is the default font used in Infographics. However, with some combinations of Windows 10 and Internet Explorer, the default font in Infographics is changed to Times New Roman.  The use of Times New Roman is purely an esthetic issue and there are no functionality problems in the infographic panels.To display Avenir Next font in Infographics, users can make a Windows Registry key change highlighted below. This change disables the blocking of untrusted fonts for ArcGIS Pro.

To disable the untrusted fonts blocking for ArcGISPro:

  1. Open the Windows Registry Editor.
  2. Create key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\ArcGISPro.exe
  3. Create MitigationOptions QWORD value = 3000000000100
Note: 
Existing MitigationOptions values should be saved during your update. For example, if the current value is 1000, your updated value should be 3000000001000.
